This beautiful example of a Regency cottage was built in the 1840's by the post master of the village of Ayr. It sits on a half acre of land fronting on the Nith River

Joan loves her garden and her paintings reflect the beauty she sees in nature. Her floral work displays a unique talent in capturing the beauty of flowers that surround her home.
Phil's work captures the essence of rural life in Ontario. His bold use of vibrant colours adds a personal touch to all his paintings
Across the courtyard from the main house is the old stable shed. This building has been converted in a studio on the main floor where the artists work, and a B & B room on the second floor, offering overnight guests the unique experience of accomodation in " the artists loft"

The B&B room has amenities such as, TV, telephone, frig, coffee maker and a toaster oven.
Continental breakfast is served and a full breakfast is available at an extra cost. There is also accomodation for a third party in the facility for an extra $30.00
